As a logical extension of computerisation programme to make administration quick, efficient, transparent and people friendly, Touch Screen Kiosk had been inaugurated by Namakkal District Collector on 15th of April 2002 in Namakkal Taluk.
The entire Land Administration system from village level to District level is computerised with the software supplied and supported by National Informatics Centre (NIC).

Information on land matters like Chitta, "A" Register.
(b)
Information on OAP/Destitute pension
(c)
Birth and Death Certificates
(d)
Obtaining print out of extracts.
(e) Information on guideline values
Procedure
for availing the service
(i)
For the purpose of visual use, individual will be required to insert two
coins of Re.1/-each (either old or new) in the coin slot. After insertion of the
coins, TSCK gets activated and individual will be required to follow certain
sets of instruction appearing on the screen facilitating him /her to view
appropriate information of his/her choice.
(ii)
User charges as follows:
(a)
Visual use of TSCK facility
Rs.
2.00 (Rupees Two)
(b) Print out of extract of Land Records. Rs.20.00 (Rupees Twenty)
(iii)
Viewing duration period is 5
minutes However individual may
extend the duration by a further period
of 5 minutes at a time by inserting additional coins for Rs.2/-
(iv)
In case individual is interested to take a print out, he /she shall pay
user charge of Rs.20/- at the computer counter.
(v)
Staff authorized by Tahsildar shall receive the above cash, issue
receipt, record in the cash registers
and furnish extract by due authentication.
(vi)
Authentication of such extracts will be done by Tahsildar or Head
Quarters Deputy Tahsildar
